Marinated Lamb Steaks

Lamb steaks shine with this simple, flavor-packed marinade. The result: tender, juicy lamb with a perfect balance of herbaceous, tangy, and savory notes—simple to make, yet elegant enough to impress at any table.

Ingredients

  • 2 lamb steaks
  • ¼ cup cabernet sauvignon
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp golden balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated or minced)
  • 1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh rosemary
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

In a zip-top bag, combine lamb steaks, wine, olive oil, balsamic, garlic, mustard, rosemary, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Marinate at least 2 hours, or up to 24 hours.

Heat your grill to 500-degrees and cook for 4-6 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reads 130ºF for medium-rare. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with roast potatoes or grilled veggies!
