Refund and Returns Policy

Carnation Farms is a working farm, educational center, and event venue focused on delivering high-quality, seasonal experiences and goods. Because our products and events are time-sensitive and often made to order, our refund and return policies vary slightly by type of purchase. Please read below for details.

Event Tickets & Workshops

We understand that plans change. If you’ve purchased a ticket for a Carnation Farms event (e.g., Farm Dinner, Workshop, or Seasonal Market):

  • Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the event for a full refund.
  • For cancellations made within 7 days, we will do our best to issue a full refund, but we are unable to guarantee a refund.
  • No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

To cancel or modify your reservation, please email info@carnationfarms.org as soon as possible.

Farm Box Subscriptions (CSA)

  • CSA subscriptions are non-refundable once the first pickup or delivery has occurred.
  • If you need to cancel your subscription prior to the first delivery, please contact info@carnationfarms.org.
  • Missed pick-ups can be rescheduled with notice, and you may send someone else in your place to collect your box.

Meat Shares

Our lamb and beef shares are harvested and processed with care and intention.

  • All meat share sales are final once payment is received.
  • If you are unable to collect your share during the designated pick-up window, please contact info@carnationfarms.org to make alternate arrangements.
  • We do not offer returns or exchanges for these products due to health and safety regulations.

Farmstand & Online Store

Because many of our goods are perishable or artisan-crafted in limited quantities:

  • Perishable items (e.g., produce, eggs, dairy, frozen goods) are not eligible for return.
  • Non-perishable items (e.g., fiber products, merch) may be exchanged or refunded within 14 days of purchase if unused and in original condition.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns or exchanges.

Canceled Events

In the rare case that Carnation Farms must cancel an event or market due to weather or unforeseen circumstances:

  • Guests will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date if available.
  • We will notify ticket holders via email and post updates on our website and social media.
